Nepris - Connecting Industry to Classrooms
The HBA has been working on plans to still be able to hold the Build My Future event for our high school kids to learn about career opportunities in construction and the trades. Even though we can not get together under the same roof to provide hands-on opportunities, we wanted to be sure the information was available. Over the next six weeks, some of our demonstrators and partners will be hosting live presentations (with Q&A) that will be recorded for future use. While brave men and women are still working the 242 Fire and Brattain Fire in our area and others across the country, the HBA knows that there will be individuals poised and ready to take advantage of the situation. If you know someone who lost their home or business due to our local fires (or even those in other areas) please remind them to thoroughly check out anyone they consider hiring. We are working on some additional resources and information with Oregon HBA and the National Association of Home Builders and will post those here, on Facebook and ourwebsite when they are ready.
