Golf Tournament

The Annual Golf Tournament is held each summer. Some years, it has been for the benefit of a member in need, scholarships, or donations to charities like the Gospel Mission, Disabled American Veterans, or most recently, the Klamath Falls Eagle Keepers Booster Club.

The 2018-2019 donations were made to the Eagle Keepers Booster Club. Never heard of them? That’s because they work diligently behind the scenes to provide services for current and former service members.

The Eagle Keepers Booster Club is established as an Unofficial Activity (UA) and is operated by a core volunteer group of F-15 Eagle maintainers from Kingsley Field ANGB. It is NOT part of the Department of Defense or any of its components and has NO governmental status. The objectives of this UA are to:

  1. Enhance unit morale – by supporting unit functions (i.e. barbeques) and various events on base (i.e. Family Day, Halloween/Holiday parties)
  2. Foster esprit de corps – through the funding of initial purchases and sales of unit souvenirs, morale t-shirts and/or memorabilia
  3. Support unit in time of need – such as sympathy items for deaths or hospitalizations
  4. Celebrate personnel achievements – assist with retirement/going-away gifts
